ROTOR Bike Components comes from one of the nerve centers of technological development in Spain, the Aeronautical Engineering School of Madrid. The basic idea of the ROTOR System comes from this school where some students developed the initial prototype in 1995. After the Head of the school approved the project, the University's Manufacturing Department helped with the creation of the prototypes.

The designers decided to stablish a company to complete this product development and start a business venture.After the first working ROTOR bycicle wass introduced internationally, Dr. Conconi showed a huge interest in the idea and asked for a bicycle to carry out a study on the performance of the system, concluding that the system provided advantages more than evident compared to traditional crank systems. Dr. Alfredo Cordova, from Valladolid University also found that later versions of ROTOR System provided biomechanical obvious advantages.

  • Road 53/40T for Shimano and other cranks using the 130 BCD (bolt pattern).
  • Road 53/41T for Campagnolo and other cranks using the 135 BCD.
  • Road 50/36 for FSA and other Compact cranks using the 110 BCD (not valid for Campagnolo Compact).
  • MTB 44/34/24T for MTB cranks 104/64 BCD (Shimano XT and similar).

Power Cranks -  Revolutionise your training with ROTOR POWER. ROTOR’s patented POWER meter crankset will improve your training quality and experience. And at just 30g more than the standard 3D+ MAS crank, it’s probably the lightest power measurement option out there.

The POWER brings scientic knowledge to the road by combining two proven products: ROTOR’s 3D+ crank and the respected Mep Lab power measurement system by AIP. Bottom Brackets

BSA 30 - ROTOR's BSA30 bottom bracket allows the installation of our 3D+ BB30 cranks into a standard, threaded bottom-bracket. The BSA30 is available in black color with steel bearings or red with Enduro Grade5 ceramic bearings. The steel option offers a light and elegant bottom bracket at a very competitive price while the ceramic bearing options are ideal for those looking to shed every possible gram while at the same time acquiring an incredibly smooth bottom bracket. Both versions are available for road (BSA only) as well as MTB use. The ceramic versions come in at an incredible 86g, while the steels comes in at 96g (depending on size and the number of spacers needed, an extra 3 to 9 grams may be added).

The BSA30 is not compatible with BB89 or BB90 frames.

Press Fit (Ceramic) - ROTOR's Press Fit bottom bracket bearings are compatible with all BB90 Press-Fit system frames that are manufactured to Shimano specifications. The new, advanced non-contact labirynth seals yield a buttery-smooth spin with unparalleled protection against dust, water and mud. Ultra rigid plastic caps give high compression and deformation resistance, facilitating crisp shifting. Available with steel or ceramic bearings. Constructed of CNC machined 7075 aluminum.

UK orders are sent using Royal Mail Tracked 48, Royal Mail Recorded or Royal Mail letter post for small, light orders and Parcelforce for heavier, bulky orders. Please allow approx 2-3 days for delivery after the order has been despatched. Large and heavy items, e.g turbo trainers and work stands, will be sent by Parcelforce (UK Mainland only). Overseas orders are sent using Royal Mail International Signed For service and Royal Mail Airsure service (where permitting). Heavier items e.g. bicycles are sent using Parcelforce Worldwide. Delivery times will vary depending on destination, customs clearance, local postal service etc. Please allow up to 14 working days for delivery. Postage costs include Insurance for the value of the order. Bicycles sent within the UK are sent by Parcelforce 48 Hour Service.
