When you’re pushing your personal limits as well as your equipment’s, you need a bike that’s up to the task. That’s where our Stereo 140 HPC TM 27.5 comes in – an uncompromising mountain tamer that puts ultimate performance front and centre. Based around the Stereo 140’s carbon and aluminium chassis, we’ve selected only the best components to make the most of its high tech design and build. A Fox 36 Factory fork with 4-way adjustment is paired with a DPX2 shock at the rear, providing up to 150mm (140mm at the rear) of smooth, controllable suspension travel and keeping the light, strong and fast-accelerating Newmen wheelset firmly anchored to the trail. Sram’s four piston Code R brakes have all the power you need to stay in control, while the Sram GX Eagle 1×12 transmission has the range, precision and reliability to get you to your destination, whichever route you choose. Best of all, all of this matchless performnance is wrapped up in a package that’s so good-looking, no-one will believe how much travel is lurking beneath that svelte frame. The perfect all mountain machine? That’s what we reckon. Now you be the judge…

CUBE’s engineers love a challenge. So when we told them they had to make the Stereo 140 sleek, light, durable and confidence-inspiring on even the most challenging of trails, they set to it with a vengeance. The result is one of our design team’s most stunning-looking frames – a blend of carbon main frame and aluminium rear triangle that’s so elegant, you won’t believe it offers 140mm of rear wheel travel. HIdden frame pivots, internal cable routing, a shorter rocker and trunnion mount shock all contribute to the clean looks. But we’ve not forgotten function, either. The Boost 148 rear end, combined with a massive down tube and tapered head tube, makes for a super-efficient, super-accurate chassis that goes where you point it, every single time. Short chainstays and a low standover are part and parcel of the agile handling, and the geometry is designed to handle both a 150mm fork and extended periods of climbing with ease. Agile all-rounder? You bet.
