In the afternoon we headed up to Winchester for some closed road crit racing.
Closed roads and sun - Tight bends & cobbles - Crowds & cheers. Great atmosphere with Winchester showing fantastic support for cycling & Primera-TeamJobs loved every minute.
Julian Lockwood rode the 3/4 race & as always he was in most of the action. A few crashes but on the whole a very safe circuit. Julian came away with a very respectable 6th place.
The youngsters took on the E123 riders! Always going to be super fast & it didn't disappoint. Jacob Aries, Charlie Walters & Charlie Kelly were flying around with the top guys making it look easy. The youngsters looked sharp on the tight circuit with the lads riding pretty much together throughout. Each race produced a fantastic spectacle of skilled bike handling.
Charlie Kelly 20th
Charlie Walters 21st
Jacob Aries 22nd
They make it look easy! It's not!
