The Road Says Slow - But Sam Says No!

Wadsley wins at Bournemouth Arrow Sopley 10m Good Friday open TT!

What a day and great to see Sam put a course PB in to take the win. It was hot and the road was busy making it a little tricky for the riders but it all turned out good.
Julian Lockwood put a solid time in of 22.10 to take 7th and Jason Gault riding on his road bike was very happy to come away with a 22.53.

Race report from Sam:
‘Great to be out racing in the sunshine again, and nice to kick start my TT season with a win. Conditions were hot, the course was rough as ever, and the afternoon start meant traffic was busier than usual, but it was the same for all riders. Early season time trials always finish with me feeling I had more to give, but I can have no complaints about my ride. Looking forward to the Weymouth 10 on Easter Sunday’

Big well done to the guys and a well organised event so big thank you to organisers. Only hiccup was Jason dropping his chain on the rollers and nearly tanking his new Venge but lightning reactions saved the day

Weymouth Open TT race report ...

Easter Sunday saw two of the team take on the WeymouthCC Open 10mTT on the honest P451 Warmwell to Winfrith course... superb weather and light winds greeted riders and fast times hoped for.. two days after winning on Good Friday Sam was feeling very confident, in great form, looked fast and relaxed in warm up only to puncture on the start line, DNS was a cruel outcome for Sam...

I faired better, roads busy but ok pushed hard on the outward leg getting used to my new aggressive set up on the superb Argon18 E117, and finished strong to give me a personnel PB on the course of 21.43 and 6th overall today... can’t complain about a PB just need to dial in the new position to get the time tumbling... can’t wait for the next one

Will Page raced at the E-1-2 Easter Circuit Race at Mountbatten over Easter. It was a super hot day on Saturday and the racing started off steady, but before too long the first attacks started and then came attack after attack, the pack chased everything down and this was the theme throughout the race. It's a great tight track which always produces good racing. With 15 or 20 minutes to go a solo rider went off the front and nearly held on for the win but after being chased down he still managed a well deserved 2nd. Will grabbed 9th place and came away happy to have put a lot of work in during the race.
