About Cervelo

Cervelo are relatively new to the cycling world but are no less prestigious and up to scratch with their innovative and adaptable bikes. They have risen to prominence very quickly, with the Tour De France being won by a rider on a Cervelo bike. Their bikes were also used at the Beijing Olympics, netting an amazing three gold medals, five silvers and two bronze bad boys.

We’ve noticed that lots of bike manufacturers get better and better through the decades as they gain experience and confidence. If this is true, then we predict an absolutely stellar future for Cervelo!

We have been an authorised reseller of Cervelo bikes for a while and are proud to have them on board!

We love Cervelo because they have hit the ground running with their designs and have not let their relative youth hold them back. Like a bolt of lightning from nowhere, they shine amongst their peers.

Our Cervelo framesets showcase the fluidity and innovation of the bikes perfectly. For example, the new P4 version for 2011 is much faster and stiffer than the already excellent P3 version. Certain elements have been added to the bike and also amended to make it faster, lighter and more aerodynamic.

Some of these changes are:

• A rear break that is worked into the frame to avoid wind drag.
• A water bottle that actually makes the bike faster! This is because it neatly brings together the down and seat tube and the bottom bracket into one aerodynamic force. This reduces the drag that has traditionally been associated with water bottles fixed to the down tube in more conventional bike designs.
• Profile tubes that are more aerodynamic.
