All day comfort
The Specialized Ruby is designed to offer maximum comfort yet still has a race worthy heritage and feel. It’s a great choice for the longer sportive rides or clocking up the training miles on the weekend. It’s a great looking bike that has confidence inspiring geometry that can deliver all day comfort.
The Ruby is based around Specialized Women’s endurance geometry this designed to give you maximum stability and increase comfort. This is taken further a step further thanks to the full carbon frame and fork and the Zertz inserts. These are Ziscoelastic dampers which are integrated into the frame and fork, cutting out vibration coming up from the road and away from the contact points.
With nine models in the Ruby range there is going to be one to suit your needs and budget. It starts with the Ruby Double and the Ruby Triple models. These are based around the FACT 9r Carbon frames that all the models have apart from the S-Works Ruby. They run with the ever reliable Shimano Sora groupset. They also get as does all of the Ruby models the very clever Specialized CG-R FACT Carbon seat post, this again helps improve the comfort of the bike.
Moving up through the range you start to see the new 11 speed Shimano 105 groupset fitted to the bikes, you will find this on both the Ruby Sport and The Ruby Elite. Next up is the Ruby Elite Disc. As the name suggests the The Elite Disc gets an upgrade to hydraulic disc brakes and a SRAM Apex groupset.
On the Ruby Comp and the Ruby Expert you’ll start to see Shimano Ultegra being included and on the Ruby Pro Disc you get treated to the amazing Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic groupset and Shimano Hydraulic disc brakes. The S-Works Ruby gets the money no object treatment with a Shimano Dura-Ace groupset and the very pimp Roval Rapide CLX 40 Carbon wheel-set.
